You're Invited: Stream Keepers

1. If you could join any movie team or mission–like the Fellowship of the Ring, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars–which one would you join and why?

2. Read Matthew 5:13-16. Jesus said we are salt and light. In your own words, what do you think it means to be salt and light where you live, work, or go to school?

3. In the message, Garry said: “Be the influencer, not the influenced.” What are some ways you can keep your “saltiness” and avoid being pulled away from your values or mission by the culture around you?

4.. The story of The Keeper of the Stream paints a picture of the importance of the church. How can we, as individuals and as a church, keep “the stream” of our community healthy and life-giving?

5. We ended this message and series with communion, remembering that Jesus invites us not just to believe, but to participate in his mission. What’s one “axe,” “bow,” or “sword” (your time, skills, passion, resources) that you could offer to God’s mission right now?
