Green Thumb: Save Space In Your Top 8

1. Did you ever use MySpace as social media? If you did, what do you remember about it? If not, what social media have you used (Facebook, Instagram, etc)? And if you don’t use any social media, what technology do you remember when it first came out (home computers, tv’s, radio, telegraph)?

2. Have you ever planted something and then it struggled to grow? What happened?

3. In the parable of the sower & the seeds, Jesus talked about this:

Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants. - Matthew 13:7 (NLT)

And when Jesus explained that part of the parable, he said this:

The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. - Matthew 13:22 (NLT)

Have you ever felt like your faith in God was getting choked out and crowded out by “the worries of this life”? What happened (or is happening)?
