What's Up God? No Fleece, No Dice, Just Two Answers
1. Have you ever had a big decision to make and you asked, “What’s Up God?” or more specifically asked God, “What should I do?” What happened?
2. When asking God for help in making a big decision, have you ever felt like he gave you two answers?
3. If you’re a Christian, what do you think about the idea of God’s Holy Spirit living in you?
4. What do you think about the idea of praying about everything (except maybe not the stuff you already know God doesn’t want you to do)?
5. You’ve got no fleece & no dice! But if you’re a Christian, you’ve got God’s Spirit in you to lead and guide you. And after asking God if there’s a particular direction he wants you to go in, you can say to God:
My life is in you I must keep believing
The decision I make is where you are leading
My times are in your hands
And part of that idea comes from Psalm 31:14-15: But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands...
So - when making a big decision (or even just waking up on a regular day), are you willing to say to God “My times are in your hands”?
