The City Youth is a Nanaimo based community of youth and adult leaders who are all about creating a place where every Nanaimo Youth is welcomed to discover their place in God's story, and how loved and valued they are by Him! The City youth is currently led by our Next Gen Pastor, Peter Bird. You can find out more about him here.
The main way we do The City Youth creates space for Nanaimo Youth is by hosting weekly gatherings called, Connect Nights. But what is a Connect Night?

At Connect Nights, the purpose is to create a space for youth to connect with God and others in community through hangouts with leaders and friends, games, music, a short message, small group discussion and snack, and all the great moments that happen at Connect Night with friends!

Connect Nights run during the school year, from September to May, and in order to serve youth in an age appropriate way, the City Youth runs Jr Connect Night for grades 5 to 8 and  Sr Connect Night for Grades 8 to 12.

Jr Connect Night happen on Thursday Nights, Drop-off at 5:30p & Pickup at 7:00p
& Sr Connect Night happen on Thursday Nights, Drop-off at 7:10p & Pickup at 9:00p.

You can register using the Registration Forms below, where you can register for all gatherings you'd like to attend. You can register for one, or a ton!

And there is tons happening this Fall, including:

After you have registered, you will receive a reminder email with registration confirmation on the day of the gathering. If you have registered for a gathering you are unable to attend, we ask that you send a quick email to youth@themeetinplace.org to help The City Youth Team plan accordingly.
