Freedom. We read about freedom, dream about freedom, rejoice in the notion of freedom, teach, advocate, and work for freedom.
It’s a word that means many things to many people. Freedom can be personal or political, legal or illegal. It’s enshrined in Charters and Constitutions, debated on University campuses, and endlessly discussed on social media.
We talk about freedom of choice, freedom of speech, economic freedom and scientific freedom. We long to experience freedom from fear, from bad habits, addictions, social stigma and countless other things.
So what does freedom really look like? Feel like? This morning we’re going to be exploring what the Bible has to say about that question.
