Experience Life TOgether

Communty Groups are small groups of people who meet together regularly in an informal environment - usually in homes or coffee shops - to build friendships, support each other, laugh a lot and do life together. Some of our groups are more study oriented, with a focus on discussing current topics presented at The Meeting Place church, while others are more interest-based, focused on shared hobbies or recreation with an après-fun discussion and connection opportunity.

Wherever you are at in your exploration of spiritual life - whether you are a committed follower of Christ or just tire-kicking the possibility of a higher power - we offer safe, comfortable and supportive environments where you can connect with people who might just become best friends!

Local groups meet all around Nanaimo and the Central Vancouver Island area at various times of the week. Browse through some of the groups below, or fill out the form below.

FITT Groups

{v. FITT} Friends In Training Together

The earliest followers of Christ called their faith ‘The Way’ - a little factoid that we think says a lot: Everyone who follows Christ embarks on a path. A journey. An adventure. And the best part ... you aren’t alone!

Do you ever wonder if you are really living the live full of aliveness that Jesus talks about?  If you are new to faith in Christ or have been following Him for decades, sharing the journey with another follower is highly recommended!

If you're ready to embark on an intentional growth season, to open your heart to God's leading at a new level - no matter how long you have been a follower of Christ - let us introduce you to a surprisingly light yet profound and rewarding way to explore and integrate 11 essential skills of following Christ.  We call this intentional journey FITT.
