Frequently Asked Questions
What
should I wear? At The Meeting Place Church in Nanaimo,
the dress code is casual. Wear whatever is comfortable
for you!
What will the service be like? Nanaimo
churches each have their own flavor, but The Meeting
Place is truly unique. We incorporate multimedia

spiritual messages that are totally accessible
to people who don't come from a church background.

anything, or be singled out in any way? In short, no. You will
never be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarassed.
As a guest with us, the Sunday morning service is our
gift to you.
Is this a Christian church, or something else?
Although the media and style used are different
from many churches on Vancouver Island, The Meeting
Place Church Nanaimo is committed to the truth
of Christianity. We believe in the truth of the
Bible and its importance in understanding God's
direction for our lives, particularly that of
bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the world
around us.
Recognizing the benefits of cooperation with
other churches, The Meeting Place voluntarily
affiliates with the Fellowship of Evangelical
Baptist Churches of British Columbia and throughout
Canada.
What times are the services?
Our Sunday services begin at 9:00AM & 10:45AM and run for one
hour.
